TSB# 18-003-08, I have had this oil sending unit replaced 2 times within one year and Dodge has a TSB out there to fix it. Although my warranty is out of date this is a huge safety issue. When the switch starts to fail the unit sends a message to the on board computer to turn on the check gauges light and reduces the rpms and stalls out the vehicle. Dodge has a TSB to address this problem but refuses to do it without charging. Dodge knew this issue well before the vehicle was out of warranty but did not notify the owners to address the issue. It has now become a safety issue with my truck and nearly causing 2 crashes. I have asked Dodge via chat to approve the update to my on board computer TSB# 18-003-18 and they refuse. I don't see how they can force the customer to pay $100 plus to fix an issue that they should have taken care of regardless. I have now had to pay 100's to replace a oil sending unit that no longer works with the trucks computer due to defective software used by Dodge. .

I'm not starting from the complete beginning I'm starting from when it place the worst took to Dodge cuz I had dying problems stalling out if I was driving to and from work mind you I drive 600 miles at a time one direction way home one night vehicle stalls out pulled to side of the interstate the vehicle starts back get down the road and it just stutters a little so I keep going get done with a little further they completely dies while I'm going through north carolina to tennessee the gorge as they call it no place on the side of the road semi beside me semi behind me no pull off to the left either hit a pot hole truck dies luckily in running about 90 mile an hour put the truck in neutral crank it no crank no start crank it again it starts popping in gear scared as hell get to the nearest gas station in worries that something else is going to happen to the truck trying to make to safe place I finally make it home truck did that couple more times on the way and stall out. I took it to Dodge and they said it was the tipm well have them fix it got the truck back no fix there they did get two codes for the tipm problem on that day ended up being the ignition coils all of them had to be replaced prior to all this I had already been having stalling problem not dying Chrysler dealer in greensboro north carolina look at my truck fan diagnostic said it was low amperage or something like that can't remember you can get ahold of him if you would like so they said replace the alternator and the battery so I did then the story I just stated took place. Now again location greensboro north carolina going across intersection rear end goes out the only reason the truck even moved anymore is because it's 4-wheel drive I drove it almost 5000 miles like that before I could afford a new rear end to put in here. I could keep going but the problems of this year model. Multiple dates.

10 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 08/10/2010

I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 truck with a 5. 7 hemi. My truck has 60,500 miles and has been serviced regularly. It randomly stalls(dies) at stop lights, while turning and even when moving forward, thus loosing power steering, brakes and overall control of my truck. I have it in the shop for the 3rd time now, 2 different dealerships and they cannot find the problem and I don't have enough money to let them keep on replacing parts! I searched online for Dodge hemi stalling problems and many complaints have been logged. It's just a matter of time before this problem is going to get someone hurt! "help" second issue is it now stalls when I accelerate to pass or to get on the highway, then starts to run real bad until I pull over and turn it off and restart.
