My abs and brake light blinks on and off all the time and dings. When I roll my windows up sometimes it turns my radio on and off. I can be going down the road and my gas hand will drop to empty and also my speedometer will drop to zero even if I am going 60 mph. My cargo light will turn on by itself sometimes and if I turn it on is it very hard to get it turned off.
The multi-funtion switch intermittently, when you push down to make a lefrt turn goes to flash on the right side or visa versa if you sometimes hit the high beams it resume to normal but you have to play with it to make it work properly very dangerous afraid of getting into accident or being pulled over by law enforcement. Will contacyt dealer to see if a recall has been issued. I have seen other complaints in this nature online.
Wiper motor fails at any speed turn signal flashes right for left or vice versa. Dangerous to driver and oncoming traffic.
When left turn signal applied right turn signal light blinks did not notice this until possible accident nearly happened.
Turn signal lights incorrect right turn signal when trying to make a left turn. Multiple times have I had near misses when making a left turn or moving into a left lane because my signal is showing right.
The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. While driving approximately 55 mph the engine stalled without any prior warnings. After brake application the vehicle was restarted. However he noticed that the engine warning light was illuminated on the instrument control panel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the brake light switch was replaced. After the repair the failure resurfaced. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, and a technician replaced various switches and components because they melted. None of the repairs have remedied the failure because the failure still persisted. The dealer was notified, and she was referred to another dealer. However the dealer could not provide a remedy because they could not duplicate the failure. The failure mileage was 23,000. The current mileage was 32,000. Updated 12/07/09 the check engine light illuminated. The dealer replaced a faulty brake switch. Updated 12/09/09.
While driving at various speeds, the truck tries to engage 4wd lo. At low speeds it has engaged to 4wd lo. At higher speeds it has engaged 4wd lock and has shifted to neutral. Dealerships have replaced the actuator, said it was the tipm, and said it was an ac relay pressure switch. The problem still happens as of 12/24/14. Has been to 5 diff. Dodge dealerships. This is an intermittent problem and may not happen for 6 months. 4wd lo light flashes and serv 4wd light comes on. Different service codes come up when dealerships look at it. I have been the only owner of this truck.
Transmission problems, looses reverse, makes a grinding noise, makes a loud whine sound when in drive. Oil pressure gauge never moves, cd player skips with new cd disks, radio crackles and stations sound like there far away when they are local.
