One problem related to gas recirculation valve (egr valve) has been reported for the 2014 Dodge Ram 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Traveling on highway feeder road at approximately 4:45 pm at approximately 30-35 mph. Prepared to come to a stop at an approaching intersection controlled by 3 way stop signs. As I began to slow down the truck stalled out. The light over the d on the gear selector was flashing and the dash panel indicated that I should shift into park and restart the vehicle. I coasted to a safe stop, applied the brake and shifted to stop and restarted the vehicle. I remained on the feeder and the truck repeated the incident at the very next intersection. I got the truck running again and pulled into a gas station and called the local Dodge dealership and talked to the service department who said they had never heard of this happening. This same incident happened three weeks ago but we thought it was a fluke. Weather was average for this time of year. Rainy and 43 degrees. Had the heater running, the seat and steering wheel heater on. Turned them all off concerned that they might be part of the cause.
