Two problems related to underbody shield have been reported for the 2001 Dodge Ram 2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The rear spring pads on my truck are rusting apart. Not just surface corrosion but actual splitting and flaking of the metal. I am concerned about loss of control if the pad splits apart as the rear axle could shift, causing an accident.
: the contact stated while performing repair work, it was noticed, that the frame was not welded properly. There has been no attempt to contact the manufacturer or dealer concerning the problem.
