I then phoned my home dealer (cochrane Dodge) and they have 6 pages of backlog and only receive a replacement part every couple of weeks. I am pulling a 10,000 plus pound fifth wheel trailer at interstate speeds for about 2500 kms. Needless to say, my wife and I are very concerned. The your safety recall letter states "if your dealer fails to remedy this defect. . . Within a reasonable time, you may submit a written complaint". I think several months (if not years) is too long to wait for this steering component recall repair.
Driving on freeway, went to change lanes and then all of a sudden the front of the vehicle started to shake erratically almost causing me to wreck and/or hit other vehicles.
