Steering Linkages Problems of Ford Contour

My family and I were making a right turn from the parking lot of a movie theater to a moderately busy street. After I completed the turn, I heard a loud "bang", and my car suddenly swerved to the right, and I couldn't stop. I could not go forward, or back around. Thinking that it was caused by a blown tired, I got out; it was not. When I had it towed to my mechanic, he said that one of the steering rods on the front, right passenger wheel had broken. He replaced both the right and the left steering rods.

Tie rod broke just pulling out of a parking space. Lucky it was'nt on the freeway.

Total steering loss,on slight curved rd. Total right wheel and everything attached came off. Even the collision repair shop said they never saw anything like that. I am susan canales and have my son's power of attorney he is in the navy and at sea right now thank you.

On July 8, vehicle was vibrating. Took to dealer they said it was a known problem. Consumer noticed problem again on July 11 when backing out of drveway and coming up to a stop sign. Consumer let off brake, and car was bouncing and vibrating. Entire tire was flipping around. Towed to dealer, and they said tie rod was broken.

The rear power window on the passenger side does not work. The moulding on the outside of the rear windows has been loose ever since the I bought the car. The carpeting in the rear of the car has been loose/ hasn't fit ever since I bought the car. The blower no longer blows through the panel vents--only through the defroster/defogger vents.
