The contact owns a 2006 Ford E-350. While driving, the contact depressed the brake pedal and the engine completely shut off. At times, the vehicle would restart immediately, but at other times, it would restart after an hour. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on five different occasions. During three of the visits, the dealer found no failures. On two other occasions, the dealer replaced the wiring harness and the sensor. The purchase date was unknown. The current mileage is 80,000 and failure mileage was 40,000. The consumer stated the dealer placed a computer in the vehicle to determine codes for the defect in the vehicle.
