Brake Disc Pads Problems of Ford E-350

Contact states the brake pads are wearing out so fastand are going into the rotors. On two separate occasions there have been brake failures. The service dealer stated it was normal wear and tear on the vehicle.

The rear brake pads has to be replaced every 5,000 miles. The last time vehicle was repaired, the rotors, pads and calipers were replaced. Dealer has been replaced.

Consumer took vehicle into dealer for a routine check. Dealer noticed a hair line crack in brakes. Rotors/ pads and shoes were replaced. Vehcile showed no sign of having a problem.

Ongoing problem with abs system failing to operate properly while driving. The abs sensor light would come on. Also, transmission fails simultaneously/one or more wheels would lock up, and brake pads failed at 8-10,000 miles. Dealer notified.

After driving vehicle for a long period of time or pulling a load the brakes become warm and the braking power decreases. The vehicle also virbrates when applying the brakes. Vehicle serviced 8 or 9 times for brake problems. Problem still exists. Front brake rotor warp due to heat which lessons the contact of the pads causing poor braking and vibration.
