The contact owns a 2006 Ford E-450. The contact stated while driving 15 mph there was a high-pressure oil leak. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed the failure to be high-pressure oil leak and egr failure. The vehicle was repaired; however, failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 64,000.

2 Gas Recirculation Valve (egr Valve) problem

Ford E-450 box truck with 6. 0 diesel has 40k miles on it. It has been in the shop 4 times already. It required all new fuel injectors, a new clutch fan, egr valve, new radiator, brakes including rotors, and ball joints. All except the brakes & ball joints were covered under warranty, but it is down one week out of every month for repairs. The 6. 0l diesel should be considered under the lemon laws.
