The contact owns a 2013 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while driving approximately 40 mph, the air recirculation would independently shut off after five minutes of use. The failure caused inflammation of the contact's asthmatic symptoms. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, who informed the contact that was the way the manufacturer programmed the air recirculation system. The vehicle was not repaired.
