Brand new vehicle. "engine stall" without warning. Dealership cannot duplicate and therefore the safety concern remains. Dealership does not care if safety concern remains. Vehicle unsafe to drive. Numerous online complains and no response or action from Ford. This is a serious matter of life and death. I was in dangerous conditions when the car lost power and my life was in danger. I demand that Ford investigates this danger and buy back the vehicle in the meantime.
The contact owns a 2015 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while starting the vehicle, the engine stalled without warning. The failure occurred twice. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the failure could not be determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact also stated that the failure occurred once while driving. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 200. The VIN was not available.
While making a right turn engine stalled and accessories are running light warning appeared on instrument cluster. Car had no power and green light on push button start was flashing. Put vehicle in park and it restarted. Appears this is an on going problem.
