2006 Ford Escape transmission slipping,we have had no problem with the transmission up till today, and it just went. The overdrive light started to flash. . Them we last overdrive. . Then drive 2. . And so on. All thing I have read on line we are not the only ones and I do feel there is a problem with there transmission. . For it just to go out of the blue and not just on our but on all the ones I read about. . With no warning at all. We have kids and we travel and if this would have happened when we were not near home,I would be stuck on the side of the road with a 2year old and not happy. I do feel someone should look in to this cause there are a lot of people paying very high repair bills to fix these, and some of these bill are like 3to 4 thous dollars. So please look in to this and help out the little guys and see if this is a quality problem and if they should be covered by the Ford motor company. Thanks.
