The contact owns a 2007 Ford Escape. The contact stated that while traveling approximately 35 mph, the vehicle began to decelerate and then stalled. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where the contact was informed that the engine failed due to lack of engine oil. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified and no solution was offered. The failure mileage was 102,000.
