Tl- the contact owns a 2012 Ford Escape. The contact stated that after starting the vehicle and with the shifter in reverse the vehicle would not move for approximately 60 seconds before suddenly operating as normal. The contact also indicated that while changing gears a popping noise was present and the vehicle would experience a jerking motion. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 150,000. Jft.
