The contact stated that while driving approximately 45 mph during the night, the daytime running lights and the instrument panel lights illuminated automatically however, the tail lights would not illuminate unless activated manually. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who advised that the vehicle was functioning as designed. The manufacturer also advised the contact that the vehicle functioned as designed.
