On several occasions after fueling I noticed when trying to accelerate my car stalls. No check engine lights are on and car is serviced regularly. But,one day after fueling 15 minutes later ,while driving my car stalls and check engine light turns on. I drove straight to auto zone amd oreily’s to get the check engine light code read. They both come back as faulty evap purge solenoid. I saw that the Ford focus in the same year has had there evap solenoids recalled. Could it be possible the Ford Escapes evap solenoids need to be recalled as well??.
Tl the contact owns a 2015 Ford Escape. The contact stated that while attempting to start the vehicle, the vehicle took a few seconds to start-up. The contact stated that the engine revved up to 1,200 rpm and then returned to 1,000 rpm. The vehicle was shifted into gear and moved a short distance before stalling. The gear was shifted into neutral to allow the transmission to stop rotating then the ignition was placed in the off position. The vehicle was restarted however, on several occasions the vehicle failed to respond and the procedure had to be repeated before the vehicle resumed normal operations. On several occasions the oil, battery and check engine warning lights were illuminated. After turning off and restarting the vehicle, the warning lights were no longer displayed. The vehicle was taken to boggus Ford mcallen (1400 e expressway 83, mcallen, TX 78501) to be diagnosed however, the mechanic was unable to retrieve a fault code. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 130,000.
Driving my 2015 Ford Escape 1. 6 turbo on interstate, started to feel like transmission was slipping but a few days later the check engine light came on code p26b7 at dealer (code p0012 at o'reilly auto parts). O'reilly says it was a generic code for "cam shaft sensor" but Ford says the code p26b7 is coolant bypass valve c needs replaced costing about $500. I noticed there are a ton of other complaints on this same 2015 Escape and even a recall for this problem on the 2014 Ford Escape 1. 6 turbo. Obviously there needs to be a recall on the 2015 as well! also Ford dealer mike murphy Ford in morton IL says my transmission is fine though I don't feel like it is.

At 127,000 miles the check engine light came on and we were told the transmission needed to be replaced. Ford was not willing to work with us even though we had an extended warranty. Now we are told that the engine needs to be replaced.
Vehicle stalls while driving on city roads. Have had conditions where we are driving at 30 miles/hr and car starts switching off with check engine light and oil light and battery light coming on. Vehicle will not move properly until I switch it off an on again. Has caused 1 accident and 2 almost accidents where car was rear ended due to stalling. There are no codes to say what is wrong and Ford states everything is fine.
I am having problems with stalling. I have had the map sensor replaced, the purge valve system done twice and the fuel pump was replaced. This car was built in December 2014. I took it to holman Ford in turnersville NJ and they could not figure out why it is stalling. I feel it is the same issue that they had recalled 2. 0 ecoboost Escapes. Check engine light is on and I cannot drive it more then a few miles, then it doesn't start. I have looked online and I feel this is part of the recall14s17. . . Ssm47575. Holman Ford couldn't figure out what was wrong and said they were talking to the engineers. What a joke I had to pay for them to put on for the codes but it wasn't even correct. This stalling happens wherever I am driving within the first few miles of the day then I don't try to drive because it will stahl. This has been happening for the last year and hall.
Vehicle is experiencing similar problems with previously recalled Ford Escapes from 2015. Check engine light has gone on with the code to "replace coolant bypass valve".
The check engine light would come on and then go off. If the vehicle was in park sometimes the heat would not work, the only way it would start working was if I pressed the accelerator. After the check engine light would go on and off for about a week I brought it to the Ford dealership. They had to replace the coolant bypass valve and hardware. My vehicle had roughly 47,000 miles on it and they told me the only reason it was covered was because I purchased an extended warranty.
The contact owns a 2015 Ford Escape. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, a vacuum sound was heard while depressing the accelerator pedal with the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an unknown Ford dealer where the purge valve and vacuum sensor was replaced however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was then taken to plaza Ford inc (1701 belair rd, bel air, MD 21014) where the purge valve and vacuum sensor were replaced a second time. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but offered no assistance. The failure mileage was unknown.
