The contact owns a 2015 Ford Escape. The contact stated that the instrument panel was completely blacked out and did not show the fuel level, speed, or any other gauge. The dealer provided the carfax information, which showed that the vehicle was previously involved in a crash prior to being purchased by the contact. The contact was not informed of this by quality Ford (1242 s madison st, whiteville, nc 28472, (800) 530-0978) when the vehicle was purchased. The manufacturer stated that there was no current recall and mentioned reimbursement if a recall was issued after the repairs. The contact was advised to save her receipts. The failure mileage was 31,000.
