1 Software problem

Failure Date: 03/28/2020

At speed on freeway, speedometer went to zero and abs light on. In recent days had wheel bearing replaced. (wheel bearing includes wheel bolts, hub, bearing, abs sensor as single part? bad abs part or connection ?) normal until on freeway then: digital speedometer displayed 0. Analog speedometer needle fell slowly to zero and stayed. I ('information indicator') appeared on center panel. Forgot how display of I message. (left joystick pad on steering wheel, left arrow, down until 'I', press <ok> for list?) (abs) lit on analog speedometer traction control wiggly line car lit on analog speedometer vehicle continued without change in speed, engine running fine. Arrive at destination. Notice power assist to steering is reduced by 25% so harder to turn notice power assist to brakes is reduced by 25% so harder to stop parking spot was on incline, instrument panel message about hill assist start not available. Pushed ignition to stop engine but was ignored. Couldnt shut engine off. (seperate issue listed in recall from 2015 for software update to body control module? NHTSA campaign number: 15v436000 ? NHTSA VIN lookup shows no outstanding recalls. Abs issue or seperate? ) returned home. Found out that ignition button sticking like was floating (?) but if push 3 times as hard engine shut off (few days previously and after button felt and worked fine). Vehicle went back to dealer today for this second new bearing in the last few weeks. Periodically on way to drop off vehicle the speedometer needle and digital display number bounced intermittantly to zero and back to speed. Abs light , "I" , and traction control lights on. (when dropped it off at dealer the dealer themself experienced the 'start/stop button wont shut off the vehicle' while checking in the vehicle for the bearing replacement. ).

2 Software problem

Failure Date: 07/25/2018

The instrument panel cluster screen multiple function display failed to display information. The multi function display would show either a black or gray screen, periodically with white lines, with no readouts showing at all. Apparently a recall (15co3) was announced and the dealer performed the recommended software update at 32,837 miles which did not solve the problem permanently. The problem reappeared at approximately 39k miles. The dealer attempted to make repairs using a software update. The software update failed to remedy the problem and the dealer installed a new instrument cluster at my expense. I am asking you if this should be covered under the original recall or if an additional recall has been established or should be established.
