The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to take the vehicle to the dealer for a diagnosis. The contact related the failure to NHTSA campaign number: 22v149000 (electrical system, hybrid propulsion system); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was approximately 18,000.
