The coolant pump for my Ford escape 2007 hybrid has given me a failure code several times. I had it diagnosed then wanted to order the part and was told that I was number 800 on the backorder list for this part. I contacted Ford and they referred everything back to the dealer(of course whom I had already spoken with) it is a Ford problem for the backorder not a dealer problem. If I am number 800 on the backorder list what type of a problem do they have. The part number is 5m6z 8c419 a.

While driving on the freeway at 65 mph the power cut out and a warning was displayed on the dash to pull over safely. I was able to restart the car and continue driving, but it happened again. I had to have the car towed to Ford. The Ford dealer had to replace the throttle body and motor assembly. This is very dangerous.
