Two problems related to brake disc rotor have been reported for the 1998 Ford Escort. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
My Escort's rotors get hot and out of round, consequently I need my third brake job in 26000 miles.
Numerous problems with brakes. Deaelr has replaced 3-4 sets of brakes. Also, replaced rotors twice, and resurfaced rotors twice. There was constant squeaking when applying brakes.
