1 Brake Grinding Noise problem

Failure Date: 01/27/2010

The contact owns a 2007 Ford Expedition. While driving 45 mph she noticed a loud grinding noise coming from the front end of the vehicle, at the same time the brake pedal fell to the floor and supplied the contact with very little braking power. The vehicle has not been diagnosed by the dealership. The contact has experienced the identical failure 5 months prior. The current and failure mileages were 60800.

2 Brake Grinding Noise problem

Failure Date: 03/05/2009

The contact owns a 2007 Ford Expedition. While driving between 10-15 mph on normal conditions, the contact heard a loud grinding noise when the brake pedal was depressed and the vehicle failed to stop. After several attempts, the vehicle finally came to a complete stop. Immediately, the vehicle was parked in the contact's driveway. There were no warning indicators illuminated on the instrument panel. Roadside assistance was called to the scene and the vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer for inspection. The technician was unable to duplicate the failure. The failure recurred, but could not be duplicated by the dealer again. The vehicle has currently been at the authorized dealer for over a week and is under investigation by the engineers. The contact refuses to drive the vehicle until the cause of the failure has been determined and repaired. The failure and current mileages were 14,000.
