While driving,vehicle suddenly accelerated uncontrollably. The driver placed both feet on the brake pedal the vehicle continue to accelerated. The driver shift the vehicle in neutral and turn the vehicle off and was able to coasted the vehicle to the shoulder. The vehicle was towed to the dealer for inspection. The mechanic informed the driver that the problem could not be duplicated. The driver informed the mechanic recall number(99v062001) was for this vehicle based on the problem with driver vehicle. Also the mechanic informed the driver the is recall was not available for this vehicle. A representative would be down to make that determination. Please fill in additional information.
The vehicle experienced sudden acceleration.
While vehicle was moving in reverse at an unknown speed engine suddenly accelerated, and crashed into a parked bus. Vehicle accelerated to an unknown speed, and traveled approximately 15 feet before the crash. Vehicle has not been examined by a mechanic to determine cause of the problem. Consumer experienced back pains since this incident. Please provide any additional information / documentation.
Recall 99vo62001/cruise/speed control:(recall repairs were done), but vehicle still experienced sudden acceleration while traveling on the highway at 55 mph which caused a collision; no injuries were reported. Dealer notified.
Vehicle experienced sudden acceleration while turning a corner and the consumer loss control of the vehicle, vehicle ran off the road, through a fence and slammed into a tree causing injury to consumers neck and back. Nlm.
Proceeding slowly at idle speed with foot on brake. Auto suddenly accelerated spontaneously requiring much harder braking to stop. Happened two times within 10 minute span. Similar problem occurred about 3 years ago and was fixed by Ford dealer. No injuries occurred.
Pe00999, while vehicle is at a stop and proceeds, vehicle idles very high which causes engine to rev, and may cause sudden acceleration. Owner places the vehicle in neutral position to stop the idling. Please provide further information.
On two occasions vehicle experienced sudden acceleration, one incident resulted in vehicle crashing into rock building.
Vehicle crashed into rock wall of building after unscheduled acceleration as we were parking it. Barely rolling, foot on brake, vehicle suddenly accelerated on its own, jumped 6" curbing, engine revving, went down hill, under low I-beam of roof and crashed into rock wall of city hall. It buckled wall, split sheet rock in interior. Although we survived the incident, the roof was ripped open by the I-beam and sunroof glass filled vehicle. We narrowly escaped with our lives. Vehicle was not driveable after accident. Police report exonerated us of any blame. First incident with vehicle.

Vehicle experienced sudden acceleration resulting in collision due to locked steering and loss of braking ability during acceleration.
Upon sudden acceleration, engine 'bogs down' or stalls for 10-30 seconds, but engine does not shut off. No warning lights come on. I barely avoided 2 accidents due to this failure. This problem has existed on my vehicle for the last 3 weeks. Other consumers have reported the same issue, odi id's: 538898, 824222, 824246, 825166, 825418, 825825, 827652, 828092, 829007. According to web searches, Ford does not have a resolution. How many deaths/accidents will be needed before a resolution is posted by Ford to resolve this issue?.
When applying brake pedal the vehicle will suddenly accelerate. Dealer has been contacted.
