Cranks haft cracked and caused engine failure.
This exlorer/eddie bauer was leased brand new. I have had nothing but problems beginning with the first week of having it (ie. Stalling, shutting off, engine failure, excessive wind noise, window/radio replacement, inaccurate fuel readings etc. . ). I have been bounced back and forth between the service and sales dept. Of the dealship. Their favorite answer to a problem is, "we are unable to duplicate consumer concern. " hello!!!!, this is why you get paid the big bucks! I am not an engineer or savy with vehicle terminology. However, I think I'm Smart enough to know there is a major problem here. I am a single parent who is concerned for myself and child's safety. This has been a nightmare for me and I am reaching out to whomever will listen to my concerns.
