1 Door Hinge problem

The contact owns a 2017 Ford Explorer. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 65 mph, the driver's side keyless entry panel dropped off to the side. While driving, the panel fell off and was sticking out, but eventually snapped in half. Additionally, the lift gate lost power. The contact had to duct tape the panel to the door. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the panel had to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. While driving at an unknown speed, the panel dropped off and snapped off. The contact was unable to secure the panel, and it completely detached. The manufacturer was contacted and referred to NHTSA. The failure mileage were approximately 75,000 and 133,000.
