Over the last several days of heavy snow and rain, I've noticed significant leaking in the rear storage are of my 2020 Explorer. Water will run down the right side of the trunk space, over the speaker grille, and into the storage compartment and spare tire space. As a result of this leak, I have had issues with the tailgate release not operating correctly (won't open), and more importantly, the audio control module which powers audio to the speakers in the car stops working intermittently. This poses a safety issue, since without sound from the speakers, I have no rear collision detection, no forward crash detection, and no cross traffic detection while in reverse. Furthermore, I am concerned that the loud popping noises coming from the driver and passenger side as well as the subwoofer can potentially start a fire due to electrical issues. According to TSB 20-2425, it appears a water leak in the rear of 2020 Explorers is a known issue. The dealership refuses to honor the repair under the bumper to bumper warranty which covers my car for 36 months or 35000 miles (which ever comes first), so I am left with a car that is a major safety concern for me. The car is 100% paid for, but with my current financial situation, I cannot afford another vehicle even with trade-in value.

Vehicle steering wheel has become increasingly hard to turn. When I try to turn the steering wheel, it feels like the steering wheel becomes stuck in that turned position almost causing me to hit things. Vehicle drives like it has manual steering and not power steering. No warning lights so far on dash. Issues happen during driving on highways and city streets.

When reversing camera will show blue screen and not give any additional warnings since nothing can be detected. This is and on and off issue so can happen at any time. I've added pictures taken at different days and times. I've just put today's date because I can't remember how long as this has been happening for.

Back up camera inoperative. In reverse, the vehcle will switch to the backup camera but the driver can not see the images, the screen would be dark and snowy.

When the car is in reverse the back up camera malfunctions. Sometimes the picture is distorted or appears backwards. For instance, the curb may be on the right side of my car, but appears on the left in the camera. More often, the camera does not work at all and no warning sounds occur for objects that may be behind the car. This issue is a safety recall in 2019 and 2020 models. I'm experiencing the same issues, but my year has not been recalled that I know of.

The rear view camera shows the image as a mirror image. In example, items that are actually on the right side appear to be on the left side when viewing the camera. In addition, the camera often times just goes black and shows no image while in use.
