Two problems related to rear suspension shock absorber have been reported for the 1997 Ford F-150. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The rear suspension, springs/ shocks failed, resulting in vibration.
Shocks are not sufficient causing extreme vibration in the rear of vehicle at 60 mph or over.
