Intermittently vehicle suddenly/unexpectedly accelerates when brakes are applied. Dealer has been notified.

3 Car Accelerates On Its Own problem

Failure Date: 03/05/1999

Had just taken foot off accelerator pedal when it suddenly accelerated up to 80mph. Had stood on brakes to slow vehicle, but engine had revved up as high as it could go. Moved vehicle to side of road & slammed into neutral to stop. Shifted into park, turned vehicle off. Later restarted vehicle & it started racing.

4 Car Accelerates On Its Own problem

Failure Date: 04/28/1997

Sudden acceleration experienced.

5 Car Accelerates On Its Own problem

The throttle control began to stick during cold weather, causing sudden acceleration and loss of control. The dealer has been contacted.

Vehicle experienced sudden acceleration, causing a collision.
