Headlights problems of the 1998 Ford F-150

Three problems related to headlights have been reported for the 1998 Ford F-150. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 02/01/2005

Both headlights of the consumer's 1998 Ford f150 have discolored to the point that it's no longer safe to operate the vehicle at night. The consumer also experienced this same problem with his 1996 Ford crown victoria. The dealer had no suggestions as to how to correct the problem.

2 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 10/27/2003

Headlights can go off when using right directional indicator, or by turning on intermittent wipers.

3 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 12/07/1998

Left side low beam lights are too low and not aligned properly. Yh.
