Tail Light problems of the 1998 Ford F-150

Two problems related to tail light have been reported for the 1998 Ford F-150. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Tail Light problem

Failure Date: 11/06/2002

Turn signals not working neither are brake lights have replaced bulbs relays and sockets have traced wiring all to no avail. Dt.

2 Tail Light problem

Failure Date: 06/15/1999

Ongoing problem with abs brakes causes rear wheels to lock up when applying brakes on wet/damp road. It also causes extended stopping distance. Also, a problem with courtesy lights, and running tail lights momentarily remain on from 2 minutes up to 2 hours before turning off, even after vehicle was turned off. Dealer/manufacturer were not notified at this time. Please feel free to provide any further details on this matter.
