High/low Beam Switch problems of the 1998 Ford F-150

Two problems related to high/low beam switch have been reported for the 1998 Ford F-150. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 High/low Beam Switch problem

Failure Date: 01/22/2003

While driving the vehicle at night time intermittently head light switch becomes inoperable obstructing the driver's view. Dealer has been notified. Ts multifunction switch replaced.

2 High/low Beam Switch problem

While driving, the consumer tried to turn the high beam lights on and the headlights went out.
