Two problems related to brake disc pads have been reported for the 1999 Ford F-150. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While traveling approximately 20 to 25 mph attempted to stop vehicle, but brakes failed. Truck crashed into another vehicle, causing 2 passengers to be taken by ambulance - no other information as to what injuries they received. Dealership had previously examined vehicle several times for complaints about brake system. Dealership had replaced brake pads/ rotors, and brake fluids. When traveling at early morning start under normal braking, rear brakes lock up, causing the vehicle to go into a skid . Consumer contacted dealer. Dealer replaced brake pads. But, problem still occurs. Please provide any further details.
