The contact owns a 2015 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while hauling a trailer at a highway rate of speed, the brake pedal had to be slowly applied due to the transmission being slow to change over; there was a loud noise and a hard downshift that continued to progress. A dealer (rapid Ford, 1510 s pokegama Ave, grand rapids, mn 55744, (218) 326-0551) was notified and the vehicle was to be inspected and diagnosed to determine the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and stated that they had no recall and no recommended solution. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was not available.
While driving as you try to maintain speed at a lower rpm the trans feels like shaking or makes a noise of rattling, and also hard down shifts from 5th to 4th to 3rd gear, I have it looked at at 2 dealerships and one said nothing wrong and the second one said the rattling noise was the skid guard wasn't tight enough supposedly they did tight it but noise is still there.
