After researching the issue I can safely say this is a manufacturing defect with the glass and rear defrost.

2008 Ford f150 lariat w/auto temp control. Auto temp control does not control temperature as set, blows constant hot air and on occasion blows hot and cold air intermittently. Does not control temperature as set by atc display. Have had the truck to the dealer 3 different times. First two trips the dealer said it was working as intended, mileage was 157 the first time, and 2052 mile the second trip. On my third trip at 5466 miles I was told that there was an oasis bulletin special service message #20422 issued on 09/06/2008 covering my problem. According to the message the cause was the blend door actuator. It also states to not make any repairs at this time as parts are due in mid-October, no parts as of 11/11/08. This defect is supposed to be on 2006 - 2008 f150 Lincoln mark trucks.

The position of the left windshield wiper is incorrect, preventing it from going all the way up and clearing the windshield during inclement weather. This is making the ability to see the road difficult. Manufacturer was contacted by consumer, and was informed that nothing could be done to adjust the windshield wiper. The consumer stated that the drivers side wipers will not defrost.

1997 Ford f150, heater/defrost does not function properly all the time, more often than not blows cold air. In bad weather visabilty is greatly reduced.
There's a white powdery dust coming out of the defroster and heater. The ventilation system is on the whole time you drive the truck so it is blowing in your face all the time you are in it. I've been having problems with my eyes and sinuses and thought that it was from the pollen this time of year. Went to the Ford dealership and they didn't know what it could be. Now I'm worried about it might be making me and other people that ride in the truck sick. Can't find anyone to tell me what the powder is so my doctor can treat me. Please tell me you can help . Any imformation will help me . Thanks toni lynn kleeba.
