I was driving on the highway and the vehicle loss power. I stepped on the gas pedal but the engine was sputtering and the truck was slowing down. I had to quickly pulled over. Shut the engine off, waited 5 minutes before starting it again. I was able to drive home, the code was p2112 throttle body actuator. It happened so quickly without any warning. I thought this is very dangerous. I was lucky today that I was driving on the right lane and able to pull over. If I was on the left lane on the highway, I don't know what would happen with sudden loss of power.
Tl the contact owns a 2015 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving 50 mph with the cruise control activated, the steering wheel seized without warning. The contact attempted to depress the brake pedal however, the vehicle was difficult to stop. The contact stated after driving over a bump in the road, the contact was able to turn the steering wheel and depress the brake pedal to stop the vehicle on the side of the road. The contact stated the air bag warning light was illuminated. The contact continued driving to his destination. After driving 30 miles, the air bag warning light turned off independently. The contact stated while exiting the vehicle he started to smell electrical fumes. The vehicle was taken to joe hall Ford located at 1617 21st st, lewiston, id 83501, (208) 746-2391, and the mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. My back signal light doesn't work and has a rapid flashing on the dashboard. I was told it was my bcm control and needed to be replaced. Which is expensive is there any type of recall on the bcm control.
I completed recall. . . Software problem which causes transmission to shift into first gear which could result in loss of steering control and cause wreck.

Control module for the powertrain is malfunctioning causing problems with overall driving vehicle. I was getting lunch and while driving back to the office a wrench sensor showed up on my dash. I stopped and had to look up what the icon meant and apparently it had something to do with the powertrain on my vehicle. I immediately called the dealership and had it looked at. They informed me it was a control module problem and ordered a new one for me.
Service advance track, abs, break lights all on. Break pedal fades to floor when held Ford dealer said module failure. This same truck had recall for hydraulic failure was serviced in 2016 now they want $1600 for a new module then the service manager said pedal was not spongey. Like I said standing still in any gear including park press the break and hold it it fades to the floor reel safe I'm sure. Abs and break light only go on when you move truck. Service advance track on when engine started.
I was driving my truck when all of a sudden all of my dash lights went on and my headlights and taillights shut off while I was driving in the dark! it was very dangerous as I was on the highway and my truck started jumping and shifting weird. The traction was messing up. After taking it to the shop they told me it was the computer. I was in a very dangerous situation because of a common fault in this year model. I will be taking to a lawyer Monday. Please get back to me as soon as possible.

While backing up and upon turning the service advancetrac light came on and stayed on. I researched and found that Ford has been having problems since 2011 for the electric steering rack and pinion (it was new technology for the 2011 model) going bad and could cause an accident if you lose power steering and there have been TSB's about said problem and no recall has been done regarding this dangerous problem. This should be recalled knowing there is thousands of people having this problem and having to pay over $2k to get this fixed when Ford knows about said problem and will do nothing to help the consumer for this is a safety issue and someone could get seriously hurt.
After last sync 3 update restarted truck and touchscreen failed to work, or have the gps map shows up. Cannot program gps for directions apim failure only 41752 miles on truck.
While driving 60 on a 2 lane rural highway, the cluster lights up with hill assist not available and engine loses power and truck starts shaking even when stopped. Turned truck off and back on and worked fine. Happened once more and now check engine light is on. ## #vpic# 1 - check digit (9th position) does not calculate properly #vpic#.

Warning light appears "service advancetrac", then lost power steering. This happened twice while driving the vehicle. Happening intermittently. Drove to Ford dealership. Diagnosis was defective electronic steering gear. Ford had recall on this same issue by recall #14s09, but my truck was not included in recall. This is a safety issue and could have caused an awful accident. Obviously the epas steering gear is defective and vehicles with it need to be recalled before someone has a major accident.
I am trying to find out if this truck has a recall that was not taken care of with previous owner based on reviews. . - there appears to be idle issues. . Engine light indicates sensor issue.

Making a right turn off of a county road at 10 mph and epsa fault warning came on. Could not physically turn the vehicle. Was able to get the vehicle stopped. No accidents or injuries. There have been recalls on f150s from 2009 through 2018 with similar problems. My specific VIN number has not been found but I have read similar articles with other customers having the same problem. Living in upstate south carolina. This is the first occurrence. Vehicle with about 140,000 miles.
Going 70 mph on the high way my truck is down shifting to a lower gear then looses power the rpm and the speedometer starts going hay wire jumping back and forth. Doing 40 mph it does the same thing and doesn't want to pick up speed. Took it to a Ford dealership and they reprogrammed the brain now the mph don't work no fuel notice it's blank.

While driving down the road approx 50mph power steering was lost. Errors displayed on dash for electronic power assist fault, advancetrac fault, hill start assist fault. Also no cruise control. After parking overnight, problem was not present on restart; after 5min of driving, all faults reappeared and have persisted continually without going away.
While driving my f150 on highway the vehicle transmission is dropping gears suddenly, it seems its going to first gear, another problem I am having with the vehicle's transmission does not go into reverse, when I push the shift lever in the reverse position, the vehicle's transmission does go in reverse, the reverse light does not illuminate on the dashboard of my F-150 and the backup lamp on the rear of my F-150 does not illuminate.
The advancetrac system pops up and will either slow the truck down or shut it right off. . I had a mechanic look at it and it still continued to do it. . . I have to shut it all down and try to restart it will sometimes drive for a short time or go for days. This has been going on for over a year where it will also go months without happening.
Advance track service warning keeps popping up, turn signal will not work unless you turn car off and back on. This is a recuring problem as many Fords have the same issue. They should all be fixed as Ford is very aware of the problem I'm sure. This happens at random times, at start up or while driving. Not sure how long its been going on, I just bought the car and it was doing it.
As you are driving the slightest bump makes the steering hard to keep vehicle from swerving . The hotter it is outside the more difficult it is to maneuver .
Problem 1: my trucks traction control engages on snow and throws the wheels into a slide rather than stabilizes the vehicle. I turn sway and/or traction control off and it turns itself back on whenever I stop and then get back in and restart the truck. Problem 2: this truck will not give an accurate read on gas in the tank as the needle is always getting stuck. I gauge by miles gone as to when I need gas. (just stopped to get gas thought I was out but needle went over 1/2 which is what I put in. ) but there are more electrical issues such as the doors that unlock during the night when I have locked all doors, by morning one or more doors often on passenger side unlock themselves. And sync always does it's own thing with my iphone x, never know if it will connect or be disconnected while driving. Sometimes it goes from hands free answer in the middle of a conversation to suddenly in privacy mode. These problems are while in motion and sometimes when the vehicle is parked. Problem 3: truck speedometer is very difficult to read due to hash marks for speed instead of numbers at 20, 40, 60, etc speeds. Nearly got a ticket for looking down too long to read my display. Starting to hate this truck as I never know what it will do or not do. This is dangerous as it is a consistent distraction. So much for safety due to technology. If others have these issues well it's no wonder people are driving so badly now.

While driving on steep decline on icy packed snow unpacked mountain road in 4x4 low in manual 1st gear with hill descent assist engaged, the truck stalled and would not restart. (apparently one cannot restart the f150 even in neutral if thy truck is moving. Have to come to complete stop and shift back to park to be able to restart engine. Very dangerous design! if truck stalls while moving the driver becomes a sitting passenger until can bring truck to stop to restart it. ) the truck then started sliding out of control on the icy packed snow covered steep mountain gravel road because I could not use the stalled engine to slow the truck down. Ended up sliding off the drop off edge of the road and the truck almost rolled over. Very close to deadly situation. After tow truck got the f150 back on the road I was able to drive the f150 safely down rest of icy road without hill descent assist.
Keep getting service advance track warning which disables turn signal, truck must be turned off and back on bur warning keeps coming back disabling turn signal. Through research this is very common and dangerous.
While I am driving with my pregnant wife in the vehicle the airbag light will illuminate saying that the airbag is off, I have to pull over while driving to have her get out of the vehicle and get back in for the light to turn off. It's a normal street in a development or on the road driving. Different speeds with flat roads, some have bumps others are recently paved asphalt. Happens intermittently, over a dozen times at different speeds. My vehicles VIN doesn't fit the recall for the airbag issue that is already aware by Ford. Took vehicle to Ford dealership 4 times for this same issue, only thong done was a recalibration of the seat weight and exactly 2 weeks and 1 day later light came on again, unable to pull over I drove hoping to find a way to pull over for the safety of my wife and unborn child, the light turned off after 40 seconds of realizing it was on. A fully grown individual sitting in the seat weight 190+lbs has this happening to them. I have video footage and will try to attach it if possible. Most recently it happened today, 2/19/20 at 3:17pm.
In austin TX, my Ford F-150 caught fire while driving on I-35 for no apparent reason. I was able to exit the vehicle quickly but the vehicle was a total loss. Screenshots of the videos are attached and videos of the incident can be sent upon request.
When I was backing my f150 out of my driveway I heard a loud squealing sound when I turned my steering wheel. This caused a stable trac light, a hill decent light, and a power steering light. I clicked on the ok button to clear all three faults on the dash because the truck seamed to working properly. As I drove to work a vehicle in front of me slammed on their breaks and when I went to react the power steering did not work. This is a very dangerous issue that could cause serious injury and or death to me and my kids. The power steering did come back and worked for a few days then it happened again when a car turned in front of me and when I swerved to miss a head on collision with my children in the truck the power steering failed yet again. I now have all three faults every time I start the truck and the power steering is completely out now. This condition is extremely dangerous if a younger person or someone that doesn't know what to do or have the physical strength to manually turn the vehicle when the power steering goes out without warning.
Several times my Ford f150 will suddenly not start and has left me stranded numerous occasions. One mechanic said it was the fuel pump so I replaced that. However, it happened again. Upon researching the internet, I discovered the fuel pump relay may need to be replaced. I took the rear defrosting relay and placed it in for the fuel pump relay and the truck started. However, several days later it happened again. In order to move my vehicle, I have used several different relays to get the truck to start and it's worked up until yesterday. I've bought new ones and it still wouldn't work. Upon further research, I decided to check the fuel pump fuse and it was melted to the fuse box. This made me look up recalls and TSB no. 15-0137 seems to be applicable. However, when I search my VIN, my vehicle is not listed under the recall. I believe it should be.
