TSB 22-2254, causing people's voice command and rear camera issues. There are many issues with sync 3 on this matter. It should be a recall. They did it for the other models. 2019 f159.
Rear camera becomes inoperable which poses risk to others and myself. Screen just goes black.
Radio, rearview camera, compass, usb ports, eight inch display failure. Apim has gone bad, a very common Ford defect over several years covering several models, that is costing/has cost thousands of consumers over a thousand dollars each to repair. The apims are obviously defective, a recall should be issued, and Ford should be required to replace the apim at no cost to the consumer.

Rearview camera system malfunction. Randomly sync screen stays black. Randomly vehicle continues to show rear camera even though vehicle is driving forward. Problem started around April 2023 at 60,000 miles.
Rear view camera is blurry.
The sync3 screen is flashing intermittently. It blacks out for 1 second and comes back on for one second. It continuously does this, and is very distracting while driving down the road. Especially at night. Also I cannot see the rearview camera while backing up the vehicle. I have done research on the problem, and there are numerous other problems just like I'm experiencing.

I purchased my 2019 Ford F-150 used in October of 2022 directly from a Ford dealer. The reverse view on the infotainment screen was foggy at the time of purchase due to moisture in the rear view camera. My local Ford dealer told me that the specific rear view camera in my truck was part of a massive recall, but they would not replace the camera because my VIN was not included on the recall list. I am confused as to how a part can be found defective and a recall issued to replace the part, but a vehicle made with the defective part is left off of the recall order. In any case, I purchased a new backup camera directly from Ford. The original camera has been superseded by a new part number. Hopefully, the new camera will not have the moisture issue. I have the old backup camera and it is available for review.
Rear camera not working. First it was just the striped screen and now just a black screen and hard to see images. See attachment provided.
Rear view camera malfunction. Sometimes it is a blank screen, sometimes it has wavy lines while other times it works fine. Can't see to back up. Almost hit another vehicle. No warnings or lights.
2021 Ford F-150 is equipped with 360 camera system and a backup camera. The 360 camera system failed within the first year of service. This left only the backup camera functioning. The dealer attempted to fix the camera system and resulted in all cameras including the backup camera not working. One year later Ford claimed to have a part to fix all of the cameras. When it arrived at the dealer they reported that the software needed updated and the process would take approximately 3 hours. The next day the story changed again. Now it didn't need the part and Ford was advising that the software upgrade would cause more problems and not fix the cameras. The vehicle is now 2 years with 19,000 mile and still covered by a bumper to bumper warranty. The backup camera is a required safety devise on all new vehicles. I have a young child who is at risk because of this failed safety devise. Dealer reports no known fix at this time. Vehicle has been inspected by Ford dealer. Ford refuses to provide a loan vehicle until problem is resolved.
