While driving 40 mph, vehicle suddenly began to shake violently. Mechanic found that tie rod had broken off due to premature failure. Consumer is aware of similar vehicles experiencing the same problem. Tie rod ends were replaced and front end alignment was performed.

2 Steering Tie Rod Assembly problem

Failure Date: 10/01/2001

Right side outer tir rod end came apart. Vehicle went off the road struck a mail box and power pole and low voltage pedastel and pulled power line from neighboring house. Causing damage to house.

3 Steering Tie Rod Assembly problem

Failure Date: 08/16/2000

At 25 mph the vehilce tie rod pull apart. . . . . Dealer notified and informed that was not cover under a mfr's recall. Please provide any further details:.

4 Steering Tie Rod Assembly problem

The tie rod end failed, while driving the ball separated from the cup, causing loss of control.
