Engine Oil Leaking problems of the 2003 Ford F-250

Six problems related to engine oil leaking have been reported for the 2003 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Engine Oil Leaking problem

Failure Date: 12/08/2008

2003 f250 6. 0 diesel icp sensor, leaking oil in the wire connector. The truck stalls at idle and the rpm's jump up while driving making you go faster then you are. Icp sensor being replaced.

2 Engine Oil Leaking problem

Failure Date: 06/05/2005

A shift cable broke on June 5, 2005. Contacted the dealer, they fixed it. Had several issues with the truck but this one was the bad one. The dealer gave no idication why it broke. Also, they had to pull out the motor because of an oil leak. Took the vehicle to dealer again because an emergcey light came on. Spoke with the service manager all he could say was that it happened to a couple of them.

3 Engine Oil Leaking problem

Failure Date: 06/25/2004

While driving 50 mph engine stalled. As a result, consumer was able to move the vehicle off the road. Dealer stated that the oil sensor system malfunctioned, causing oil to leak.

4 Engine Oil Leaking problem

Failure Date: 09/30/2003

Oil leak.

5 Engine Oil Leaking problem

Failure Date: 07/15/2003

Oil leak.

6 Engine Oil Leaking problem

Failure Date: 02/28/2003

The vehicle would lose power steering when applying the brakes. The power steering would return after letting off the brakes. The vehicle had been to the dealer on three separate occasions. The dealer changed various parts and the problem recurred. The hydro boost was not operating properly and the engine had an oil leak due to the glow plug boss bar orings.
