Two problems related to car accelerates on its own have been reported for the 2004 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
2004 Ford f250 super duty diesel at 11:30 pm had un intended acceleration while traveling in the fog. The vehicle simply took off wide open while in a curve without my foot on the gas pedal at all. This is second instance of this happening. Steve marsh Ford dealership was aware of the turbo revving up and had worked on this multiple times prior to the unintended acceleration. I notified my insurance carrier farm bureau agent mark milam 731-855-2591 the next morning.
The consumer experienced sudden acceleration and about 30% of the time the vehicle would not slow down once the consumer's foot was removed form the accelerator.
