Fuel Injection problems of the 2004 Ford F-250

Three problems related to fuel injection have been reported for the 2004 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Fuel Injection problem

Failure Date: 05/28/2011

The contact owns a 2004 Ford F-250. While traveling 60 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the contact was informed that the fuel injection control module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The current and failure mileages were 126,000.

2 Fuel Injection problem

Fuel injection control module ( ficm) failed , recall campaign 05v270000, NHTSA action #- ea05003.

3 Fuel Injection problem

Failure Date: 09/01/2006

The contact owns a 2004 Ford F-250 super duty. While driving various speeds (5-70 mph), the vehicle stalled without warning. In addition, the failure also occurred with the cruise control engaged. The contact stated that he was able to restart the vehicle. The dealer replaced the icp (injection control pressure) sensor; however, the failure continued to occur. The failure mileage was 42,000 and current mileage is 56,000.
