Three problems related to tire tread/belt have been reported for the 2004 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Les schwab tire blowout/separation. Dot utw8tm34803 s2l. Radial rvt wild country lt265/75r16. I believe tire to be manufactured by cooper tire using dot lookup code. Also on tire is tbc corporation. Cooper tire may have history of problems as I have found on the web. Damage to vehicle was left rear fender bent, and black rubber and steel belt scratches on outside radius of wheel well. Tires -- general ameritrak p235-75-r16 have belts that are coming apart.
2004 Ford f250 suffered tire tread separation while driving. The consumer stated the tire was still inflated with the majority of the tread missing.
