Three problems related to oil pump have been reported for the 2005 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Crank, not start. High pressure oil system leak. Pump fitting leaking and ipr damaged. Removed and replaced hp oil pump, quick connect and ipr. Cost $1380. 29 after only 705 miles, more repairs needed, of course not covered by warranty again. Why isn't something being done to force Ford to pay for repairs to this junk they put together? work done by legacy Ford.
The truck engine died and was unable to be restarted. Was told that the stc fitting on the oil pump had failed and was replaced, when road tested the igr valve failed. Had to be rescued by the border patrol.

Ferrario Ford Lincoln located 2472 corning rd, elmira, NY was contacted and diagnosed the failure as a high pressure oil pump malfunction and the part would need to be replaced. The failure was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 20,000. Kh.
