Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 2006 Ford F-250

The contact owns a 2006 Ford F-250 sd. The contact was driving 20 -30 mph on a wet surface. The brakes were applied lightly and the vehicle hydro-planed and crashed into a tree. The air bags did not deploy and the contacted was thrown into the rear of the vehicle with the seat belt restrained across him. He suffered injuries to his entire body and was taken to the hospital. The police were called and a report was filed. The vehicle was destroyed and the insurance company was notified. The manufacturer was notified and a claim was filed. The failure mileage was 115,000.

I was driving down a street in my 2006 f250 sd, when all of a sudden the horn honked and stayed on (not like honk honk but like hhhhooonnnkk) I had to stop and pull the fuse to get the horn to turn off. I have read online that is happens alot in the 03-06 f250, and when Ford fixed my truck they replaced the fuse box, driver side air bag and horn assembly(at a cost of 1486. 80). This was a single vehicle crash involving a 2006 Ford F-250 extended cab 4x4 pickup on a county maintained gravel surfaced road. Upon leaving the roadway the front of the vehicle struck a tree head on, just to the right side of center. There were no passengers, just the operator in the vehicle.
