Tl the contact owns a 2014 Ford F-250 sd. The contact stated that the service engine indicator flashed for a failure pertaining to the diesel exhaust fluid (def). Blake fulenwider Ford (115 w houston st, beeville, TX 78102, (361) 358-8877) diagnosed that the failure was due to the def sending unit pump. The manufacturer sent an exhaust warranty campaign document, but was unable to identify the notification. Due to the failure, the vehicle was unable to pass an emissions inspection. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was waiting to determine the guidelines from the emissions office and the manufacturer. The failure mileage was not available.
