1 Check Engine Light On problem

Failure Date: 06/29/2020

At just over 100000 miles, check engine light code p20ba came on, reductant heater, turn out as it is an f250 its not covered, but f450 and f550 are. Also as air temperatures are in high 80f, the heater is not required. The regens occur during highway travel and the heating affects surrounding area when parked.

2 Check Engine Light On problem

Failure Date: 06/01/2020

I was heading from cibolo, TX to kingsville, TX. (distance 181 miles) upon arriving at destination I shut down my truck. After approximately one hour, I started my truck and the check engine light came on. I connected my obd reader and it identified the fault code p21b0 (I did not clear any codes). From my research it relates to the reductant level sensor c circuit high. After researching more information I started looking through the information center under the vehicle setting and noticed the def level was below half (I never got a pop up or notification from the information cluster). In the past the information cluster would display the level notification without an engine light coming on. This time it did not. I purchased some def and filled the tank. It only took two gallons of def. The engine light remained on the rest of the day driving around after filling the def tank and the def below half notification also remained on. The next morning I started the truck and the engine light was off and the def below half notification was gone.

5 Check Engine Light On problem

Failure Date: 12/10/2018

Bought used f250 October 2018 with approximately 55,000 miles. Went into shop for p207f on 12/10/18. Installed ccv collar kit and reprogrammed pcm @ 57,104 miles. 12/24/18 truck back into shop for p207f code. Nox sensors replaced @ 57,473. In January 2020, check engine light and limp mode message displayed. Nox sensors replaced again for p207f code on 1/17/20 @ 69. 700 miles approx. Nox sensors only a year old. Per mechanic, catalytic converter is suspect - but is on indefinite back order with Ford. 1/24/20 while traveling down the road @ 60mph the truck started the "death wobble". Truck back in shop, bad track bar replaced. Wheel damper needs replacing, but this part is also on indefinite back order.
