14 Engine And Engine Cooling problem

Emissions control, I copied this from another because it is my exact same problem. Ford needs to fix this by the known issues. I took it to the dealer to get fixed under what I thought was a TSB, I was wrong. Wanted to charge $281 just to pull the code even though I already did and told them that this was my exact problem. In 2018 Ford extended the warranty period on their def heaters. The warrant included 2011, 2012 f250 thru f550. The warrant also included 2013, 2014, 2015 f 450 and f 550 but excluded the f250 and f 350. In researching this particular problem, I see a number of people who are having this exact issue with the 2015 f 250 and f 350. All of these vehicles use the exact same 6. 7 power stroke diesel motor and I would think the def systems are similar if not identical. Ford should be required to include the 2013, 2014, and 2015 f 250 and f 350 in the warranty they extended to 11 years. I have owned two 2015 f 250 diesel trucks and both have had issues with the def systems. My truck currently has 106,000.

16 Engine And Engine Cooling problem

Truck was driving at 35 mph when all of the sudden lost compression. Coasted off the roadway. Vehicle had broken valve spring which dropped valve causing hole in top of piston. This truck is in new condition with oil changes regularly no warning lights on the dash or knocks. Zero indications prior to this happening. We own four Fords and believe this to be a faulty part. Thousands of dollars to repair. Only 92000 miles on it all highway.

18 Engine And Engine Cooling problem

Failure Date: 08/15/2015

My 2015 f250 started vibrating and shaking during regen a little after 4100 miles on the motor. I drive the truck 85% of the time on the highway at least 45-60 minutes to work. Fords stance originally is that this is normal!?! they have now released a TSB stating that they know that there is an issue and that a fix should be out sometime in March 2016 with a recalibration for the dpf. In the meantime my trucks valves are sticking in the open position I¿m sure causing engine wear/damage (root cause of the issue). Not sure how a recalibration on the emissions are going to fix crappy valve to guide clearances. Ford knows that it¿s an issue with current 2015-2016. $60,000. 00 ruining like crap, thanks Ford!.

The truck runs very rough during a regen cycle. Engine knocks and clatters with loss of power.

22 Engine And Engine Cooling problem

Failure Date: 02/28/2015

When the vehicle is performing a regeneration, and you are going up an incline, the engine can shake and valve knocking can be violent accompanied by a loss of speed and power. The first violent incident that happened was going up a narrow mountain road and fortunately no one was injured. The vehicle has been taken to the Ford dealership and contacted Ford corporate multiple times and they are unable to correct the issue and unwilling to spend enough time to witness the issue themselves. The loss of power occurs unexpectedly and could cause someone to lose power while merging onto a highway which is unsafe or cause the vehicle behind you to rear end your vehicle when the power loss occurs going up hill.

23 Engine And Engine Cooling problem

Failure Date: 01/15/2015

2015 f250 sold to lori lacombe VIN #1ft7w2bt7fea07491 a few months after purchasing a new 2015 f250 diesel, I began to experience something wrong. When traveling at a constant speed, the engine began to knock loudly and the entire truck began to vibrate. After taking my foot off the gas pedal and coasting for a short period (there is no power to accelerate during this time), the truck seemed to function normal again. There were no warning lights or messages on the dash. The problem is getting worse and more frequent; lasting longer and loss of ability to accelerate interrupts flow of traffic behind me. I held up traffic going up ms river bridge, and this past incident lasted for a 15 mile stretch. It is extremely unsafe. . . . . . .
