Two problems related to steering column have been reported for the 2017 Ford F-250. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Driving about 60 miles per hour on a state maintained highway I hit a small depression in the road and the front end of the truck and the steering column started to shake violently to the point I had very little control of the vehicle. I was able to pull over and stop. I understand there is a class action lawsuit against Ford describing the death wobble effect. That description is exactly what I experienced.
While driving on the highway between speeds of 55-70 mph when you hit a bump or uneven terrain the whole front end of the truck including the steering column will shake violently until you brake and bring the speed below 40 mph. This is not safe and could cause a major accident.
