This vehicle was delivered yesterday to my son through autonation sanford [xxx] . The carfax report stated a pre delivery inspection was done prior. On the way home he experienced loud screeching from the front wheels. Turns out $1650 later he needed new brakes and rotors. That is negligence, and fraud, especially with a commercial vehicle intended on towing a fishing boat. This was underhanded and a disgusting pattern of behavior. In addition, the open fixable recall was not completed as we just found out from searching the VIN on your website. The managers name is [xxx] , I have reached out to him to rectify this situation, and no call back. Truly grotesque, taking advantage of a [xxx] kid. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

The components in questions is transmission. My sister had borrowed my truck. She put the truck in park and walked back inside to grab an item. Her dog ran out of the house and at that moment she realized the truck was rolling forward. Luckily they was a passenger in the passenger seat that was quick to act and climbed over the middle console and pressed on the brake. There is a video of the insistent. The passenger then confirmed the truck was in park and moved the selector to reverse then park then reverse and park again. Please note the truck was on relatively flat ground. Not a huge incline hill. The truck could have killed the dog or even ran over my sister in her pursuit to get her dog away from the truck. They problem was attempted to be recreated at the moment of the incident but wasn’t retractable at the time. I will be checking it every time I drive the truck from hear on. No one was hurt so a report wasn’t filed with the police nor was it taken to the dealer for inspection. There was no warning lights illuminated at the time. However the gear selector did show park. I’m unable to upload the video just segments of the video. There is a full video.
My brand new 2020 f250 lariat was delivered to my home yesterday. It was driven roughly 80 miles from denver to colorado springs by the salesman who sold it to me, but is otherwise unused. I noticed last night that the emergency brake cable running to the left rear wheel appears to be too long. As a result it has a loop in it that is positioned between the main leaf springs and a secondary spring that I believe engages when the truck is fully loaded. It's pretty obvious that under a full load, the brake cable is at risk of being pinched by the springs. I have little doubt that the dealer will fix this for me when I ask, but am alarmed that other similar trucks may have the same problem.
