Service Brakes problem #1

While driving, multiple warning lights illuminate simultaneously — abs, brake, and all driver assist/safety systems — and the drive mode drops to standard locked. During these events the anti-lock braking, stability control, traction control, and trailer sway control systems appear to go offline. I have photographs of the illuminated warnings. My own obd-ii scan on 7/9/26 recorded u0121 (lost communication with abs module), u0415 (invalid data from abs module), u3035 (communication authentication failure), and u1012. The dealer's own scan confirmed multiple stored "lost communication with abs module" codes in module history. The vehicle has a documented history of water intrusion from the sunroof drains, which the dealer was unable to reproduce or repair; water tracked to the windshield/mirror electronics and into the dash. On 7/13/26 the dealer reprogrammed the abs module with a software update but performed no physical inspection of the wiring, connectors, or modules for water damage or corrosion. The condition is intermittent and unresolved.

Service Brakes problem #2

The dealer had attempted to repair the recall 26c10 on my truck that tows daily. The team has attempted to fix this problem with 3 service visits and performed multiple software flashes for recall 26c10 which have failed to fix the safety defect. The trailer module hardware is bricked. Now I’m being told the module is on national back order and they are unsure what to do next. Ñ, if this is even the fix. This is a serious safety issue that makes my truck useless for towing which is a major part of our regular use.

Service Brakes problem #3

Wrench light on dash comes on sporadically with message that there is a powertrain malfunction / reduced power. It said the system has detected a powertrain or 4 wd fault. Reduced power may put both the driver and others at risk depending on the area in which this occurs, ex interstate. Dealer has yet to remedy problem. Car has been to the dealer service department 4 times for this issue. Codes present are u0121 (lost communication with abs control module a), u1012 (invalid internal control module data received from abs control module), and u3035 (communication authentication signal invalid data).

Service Brakes problem #4

When you start engine, and it's below normal temp, the engine maintains a high idle rpm and upon shifting to fwd or reverse the truck overpowers the brakes and accelerates rapidly. In reverse it's startling. It's unsafe in parking lots and on street parking.

Service Brakes problem #5

I was driving my work side break stop working on freeeway. Brake bouster pressure sersor low input.

Service Brakes problem #6

Automatic emergency braking engaged while the vehicle was in neutral tow. Resulted in 2 rear blown tires and damaged rims on vehicle. Attached the f250 correctly to the motorhome and confirmed truck was in neutral tow. Starting pulling the f250 and confirmed by looking at mirrors on the motorhome and rear camera that the wheels on the f250 were rolling both front axel and rear axel. After several blocks felt a hard tug while driving the motorhome, looked in the side mirror and rear camera and noticed smoke coming from rear tires. We pulled over on highway and stopped towing the vehicle. Went back to truck open the driver door and the dash was reading vehicle was still in neutral tow. Called a tow truck. The f250 truck was towed to the moss Ford dealership. Ford dealership never neutral towed the f250 so they were unable to recreate the situation. However we had computer data on the f250 dating back to before the truck was delivered after manufacturing relating to brake issues. The emergency brakes engages when we are driving it and comes on after stopping on a hill or after we tow a trailer. We have had this f250 into the dealership for brake warranty issues before we started to neutral tow the f250. We had neutral tow this truck over 1500 miles before this incident. We continued on our trip and currently in chula vista CA. Neutral tow the f250 all the way. However the Ford instructions on how to set up neutral tow does not tell you disable automated emergency braking system or disable the front collision warning system.
