Failure Date: 01/04/2021

Unstable driving at 50 mph after small road unevenness. (death wobble) almost hit a vehicle while driving on highway 52 in puerto rico. Took it to the dealer and provided with a fix but the problem persist increasingly. Also, computer code p2074 for a 2019 unit. Oil leaking from the left front side of the upper crankcase. Have an appointment at the dealer on March 08, 2021. Dealer informed, upfront, that there is no permanent solution for the so call death wobble unless Ford issues a re-call and provides it.

2 Crankcase (pcv) problem of the 2008 Ford F-250

Failure Date: 01/31/2019

Excessive blowby polluting engine. #8 and #6 cylinders, rings heavily worn or damaged due to diesel regen contaminating lubrication and getting in crankcase. This is a very well known and unacceptable issue causing scored engine blocks and failure of engine and dpf and egrs.

3 Crankcase (pcv) problem of the 1997 Ford F-250

Failure Date: 05/23/2008

My complaint has to due with the pcv valve hose that runs to the vacuum system. It gets too warm and melts and it causes the engine to stutter or stall causing the vehicle to stop rapidly. I have noticed this on many of the f250 or f150 5. 4l triton engines. This has happened several times to my truck and it is expensive to keep replacing it. It has almost caused a few rear endings.

4 Crankcase (pcv) problem of the 2002 Ford F-250

Failure Date: 07/28/2006

Two times it died while driving the third I was idling talking to a friend and it just died and would not restart.

5 Crankcase (pcv) problem of the 2001 Ford F-250

Failure Date: 04/19/2006

: the contact stated while driving various speeds, the engine stalled without warning. Afterwards, the engine restarted without incident. The vehicle was seen by a dealer for inspection who determined the crankcam sensor needed to be replaced.

Failure Date: 08/30/2004

Consumer stated that the oil pan rusted right through. Also, it a ignited a fire under the base of the vehicle. Consumer contacted dealer and manufacturer, and neither were willing to assist the consumer.
